What a dream it is to be a wedding planner on a weekend like this for Erin and Steven’s fall wedding at Foxhall Resort. We met Erin over a year and half ago when she and Steven were still living in Seattle, WA. We immediately began planning remotely, pulling together every bit you can think of. Who could have imagines that this would have been the busiest wedding weekend in Georgia (Georgia Football BYE week)?! The weather is just now turning cooler, the leaves are starting to fall, love is in the air…
It’s quite amazing when a client gives complete trust in you as a planner and designer to make a gorgeous wedding. See for yourself in the photos below by our dear friend Anna of Libelle Photography.
Fall weddings at Foxhall always provides a naturally beautiful setting, but when a chance of rain was in the forecast, we did a little rain dance. The minute Erin was scheduled for her first look with Steven, the skies cleared and it turned in to the most beautiful evening! Call me good luck, but it was perfection. Renee with Ballroom Blitz set the tone with some smooth jams by Sam Smith, The Lumineers and Ed Sheeran right before the ceremony started. Erin’s brother and Steven’s sister officiated the wedding side by side and guests were fighting back tears as the couple exchanged their vows.
After the ceremony, cocktail hour was on the back side of the Stables and the most amazing sunset proved to be a showstopper {see photo below}. Bold American served up some delicious fare, the New Royals kept everyone dancing the night away and it was a fun time had by all!
